THE CALLED OFF WEDDING PT 2

As Carla and Yousef were ashamed, they decided to flee together, they traveled to a small town for some days to put the ideas on the right path. Three days later, they called their parents up to see the damages they had left behind. As they were on holiday from their jobs, time would help them to think what should be the next step. The news wasn’t good. After all, they had left their families in a delicate position. “Both of you embarrassed me the most in front of our guests” was the main complaint. “Come back home and ask for forgiveness for each one of them!!! “. At first, they felt sorry, then anger, then fear about the future, and then berserk. They decided to go through all of this together. They were sure they had done the right thing, and this was a relief. But then something strange happened. For the first time, in the last four days, they were very close to each other but hadn’t had the chance to be alone and talk about the whole situation.  In this small town, they found interesting places to go to. At long last, the next five days were intense for them. They talked about their past, good and bad moments, and family, getting to the conclusion they had many things in common. Those were days of peace after the tempest they had gone. Then the most unlikely thing happened. They fell in love. It was really strange because twenty days before they were running from a church and now this…but it was for real as much as the situation could be awkward. They never felt something like this before… Yousef asked Carla if she would marry him…Carla began to laugh. “Yes of course,” she said. “But I want to live away from your family !!” she added. “ME TOO!”  said Yousef… Then, in secret, they married in that small town with no guests, and family, went back home, bought a house, and after all, warned everyone that they were married. Wow… many applauses for love…
