A MESSAGE FROM THE HIGH

There is a big farm in Oklahoma and its owner takes care of everything. His name is Harris and he runs in this business since 2000.  He is used to taking long walks through the farm by horse. One day he perceived that his horse was getting blind. He got sad but did not sell or sacrifice the animal. He decided to buy a younger horse, put a bell around his neck, and let them be together in the pasture in an attempt to help the blind animal. He got proud of himself as the animals got along and got together from dawn to dusk when they came back to the stable.

It was simply emotional to see how they pledged to each other. As the younger horse waits for the old one, mainly how the old one walks through the pasture, only guided by the bell of the new one, and how the animal recovered the will to live though he can´t see anything at all. An example of this is when they come to the stable, sometimes in complete darkness. He simply follows his friend with confidence because he feels safe.

One night Harris was sitting down on the porch of his house lost in his thoughts when all of a sudden one thought took his attention. “God never sacrifices us or sells us just because we have our fears, weaknesses, and doubts. He never relinquishes us because we are blind most of the time. On the opposite, he takes care of us by sending someone to guide us. Sometimes we are the blind horse guided by the bell of other people.”

And he went beyond: “Sometimes we are the younger horse with bells to guide someone who seems to be lost and find its way home. So as the ones (friends included) that we do not see, but they are there for us when needed.”

In this religiosity, we must be gentle and kind always, forgiving others because we have our own weaknesses, instead of judging them. We do not know the history of each one.

Help people to get up from the ashes. Take joy for the ones who are in despair. Just be light in this world of darkness and density. Offer help, ask for help and accept help when needed. Take care with words that are said in a moment and then you may regret them for a lifetime. Be with God. He will never relinquish you. A Message from the high.
